mmm, I'm not against shipping as a rule (though I do prefer it when it's cannon, but that's not gonna happen here), but something about Spike and Rarity is just kinda...Squick. I mean, Spike is probably around nine or ten to Rarity's 18-20.

Yeah, people spotted that Derpy-esque kid unicorn in a couple of episodes and decided she was Derpys daughter. She's called Dinky Hooves, and fanon says she was born from an egg. There are differing theories about who her father is.

Luckily, you don't have to pay money for Google Chrome themes featuring ponies.
Here's one for Twilight.
There's one for Applejack and one for Rainbow Dash (which I'm using since the tabs are 20% more legible with light blue). You can find links to them on that page.
The creator is working on more and planning to improve them.

Just watched "A Dog and Pony Show". Rarity's whining voice was hilarious.
By the way, I think it's kind of awesome now that I was born in the year of the horse.
