Celestia? That's probably true. She certainly seems to view Twilight as a daughter to some degree, so it's only natural that she'd be interested in Twilight's friends as well.

I'm going to bed too. Taking a 3 week intensive course over January which means I have to wake up at a reasonable hour, which means going to bed at a reasonable hour.

So I was reading a FIM crossover (written by Japanese Teeth, btw), and got a question.

How much would ponies, at least someone who is as well versed in mytholgies and whathaveyou as Twilight, know about humans?

You know, that reminds me. I like how the main character of this series is a bookworm. It's a rather refreshing change from all those slacking or idiotic characters.

@Roy: Depends. Either humans to the magical ponies are mythical and/or fairy tale creatures, or they simply do not exist. Equestria probably has references to other species of primates, such as monkeys, gorillas, and chimps, but humans are doubtful.

Well, we technically saw the country that the ponies USED to live in before Equestria in Hearth's Warming Eve (has anyone named that country yet?)

I'd like to see the country of the Zebras

I suppose that's true... though we didn't see too much of it. I like to refer to the pegasi's kingdom as 'Acmippo' (Hacked Greek for Horse Peaks), but I couldn't say for the other bits of it.

I sort of like to think of the parts of the play as a metaphor, though. Like the cloud was an actual dragon, or maybe a storm, and the ravine was an ocean or at least a giant river.

And a country of Zebras would be pretty cool, yeah. Either called the Marengeti, or Ashantimare.

I imagine the three old countries got culturally assimilated into modern Equestria, especially after Discord ruined the land.
