x7 AJ would be good at logic, but she might not have good attention to detail. Rarity, who does have attention to detail, would be too melodramatic. Fluttershy wouldn't have the stomach, and RD would blame everyone. So Twilight would probably be best.

But CLAMP didn't write Code Geass. They only did character design.

@ J Teeth: Yeah, I've seen some Leverage. Twi I think would be Nate, Pinky would be Parker, Spike would be Alec, Dash or AJ would be Eliot, and Rarity would be Sophie. Alternatively flip Spike and Twi's positions.

@Drenius: Yeah, that's what I figured. Twi is obviously the Mastermind, and Rarity is obviously the grifter. AJ is probably the best choice for the hitter. RD might be able to fit Parker's role pretty well due to her agility. Pinkie also fits the Playful Hacker personality type pretty well. Not sure what to do with Fluttershy though.

The way Applejack talks about "fancy mathematics" in Applebuck Season makes me think that she'd be one of those detectives who run solely on guts. Not saying that she's stupid, just that I don't think she'd enjoy thinking too long on something. She is, however, definitely good for keeping everyone moving on, especially if Twilight gets caught up in pointless minutiae. The mane 6 as a whole can be recast into any kind of occupation, really.

Er. Please don't start with that.
