Woah, I think this is the fewest new pages I've ever seen after waking up. It's like everyone's busy with some sort of holiday or something.

For the next week my internet access is going to rely on finding unsecured networks, so I may not be able to post for awhile. Merry Christmas to all of you, and I'll see you when I see you.

Thoughts on epsiode 7 S2:

For being a RD episode this didn't not piss me off so much as it should have, which is good.

Make no mistake I still hate RD, and once again my urge to punch her in the face resurfaces with this whole plot, but it was funny and interesting enough to where I am willing to over look that for the time being.

Tank, is awesome, RD should take a lesson from him and be more gournded and steady. I love how at the end he got the mouse away from opal. Though I am shamed to admit part of me was hoping the bat would win the competion, I hope both of them show up again.

I love how Fluttershy geeks out the moment RD wants a pet. Fluttershy was spot on this episode, though the other where not really....there, as much as they could have been.

Music in this continues to be awesome, Fluttershy's song is another going on my MP3.

Is it just me or are the aespoes getting kind of....irrelevent to Friendship? Framing device I know....and at least this is sort of kina' applicable, but the last few "letters" have had less to do with the magic of friendship and more to do with the lesson of the day. It's not a huge thing, but it's a minor nitpick.

Like someone else said, it'll probably be like Dog and Pony Show, cutting back and forth between AJ and the rest of the cast looking for her.

When I first read it I got so angry, I just wanted to punch THROUGH time and space back to when the writers were pitching episode concepts for season 2, and clobber the guy/ girl who pitched this synopsis in the back of the skull

Thankfully you haven't learnt to launch attacks through L-Space and/or the Internet. PAOIP: Physical Attack Over Internet Protocol, lol. Mind you, it'd be a great way to deter trolls from trolling if you could just reach out through their browser/terminal and pop them a good square one right up the kisser.

Yeah the RD episodes this season have pushed me from being merely annoyed by Dash to outright disliking her, though I'm becoming less vocal about it. Maybe she'll be redeemed though by the time Season 2 is done.

May the best Pet Win is one of my favourite episodes (and definitly my favourite song) from the show, but the Mysterious Mare-do-well was so...predictable. I mean, the whole thing was obvious, and that suddenly remembered me I was watching a kid show ><'

I like Dashie a lot. Still think the writers are portraying her badly, but eh (ponyshrug.jpg).

The funny thing is that there's a g4 Dashie who comes with a tortoise as well (Hasbro coaxing writers to use the toys in the show, lol). I got Dashie with a squirrel-thing.

So I got a Sweetie Belle Toy for Christmas, but seeing that Twilight is Best pony and my little brother got a set which left him with two Twilights, I decided to trade for his Twilight. I also got a tablet so now I'm going to try to do that pony art with it. Where were those tutorials sites again?

The hate for those dashy episodes just baffles me to the highest degree.

You can grab some tutorials off Ponibooru, I think, and some of the Deviant bronies have tutorials of their own. Check with EQ Daily too.

Mare-do-wells hate has nothing to do with it being a Dash episode, and everything to do with it being a just plain badly written episode, which doesn't clearly show stuff, that yes can be inferred, but makes the Mane casts actions questionable, super speeds the ego boosting way to fast, completely alters the setting so much it doesn't even feel like it takes place in the same town as all the other episode (my biggest issue), AND Introduces a horrendous, demonic creation of pure, sanity rending, soul tearing, disgusting WRONGNESS that would send Azathoth running in fear for it's sanity.

Like "Over a Barrel, " I find the easiest way for me to tolerate "The Mysterious Mare Do Well" is to just treat it as a parody of a genre (westerns for "Barrel", superheroes for "Mare").
