Seen it.
Tick Tock, goes the clock/ He cradled and he rocked her/ Tick Tock, goes the clock/Till River kills the Doctor.
The korean guy next to me at the library seems to be having a stress breakdown. Quick, give me something cute to put on the screen to make it all better!
I'm pretty psyched for canon, but I hope we get another winter-themed song other than Winter Wrap Up. That really only works near the end of winter.
Oh, look at that, it appears I've become BOLTED TO THE WALL!

Hey, you're the one posting all the art I've seen =P
Not that that picture isn't awesome :3
Tick Tock, goes the clock/ He cradled and he rocked her/ Tick Tock, goes the clock/Till River kills the Doctor.
I'm honestly kind of apprehensive, if only because the whole concept is going to give everyone really high expectations. I'd hate for this to turn into another case of the "The Best Night Ever". That said, I've also been apprehensive of the summaries of the last 2 episodes, and they turned out pretty well, so my fears are probably unfounded.
I haven't forgotten the lesson taught by Best Night Ever yet so I won't expect anything yet.

But... even just the preview we've seen has made mention of how Earth Ponies possess a vital skill that the other races don't have. Heck, it's probably one of the
more vital skills, convinient though weather control and such are.
Or are you just expecting to be mad because whatever their role, you're expecting that you'll want them to have done even more?

My theory is that stuff does happen naturally on it's own, but the ponies have to manipulate it to prevent issues. Like weather; the Pegasi don't necessarily have to create it, but if they don't do it themselves, it does out of control. Weather control pretty much prevents any weather-related natural disasters; if you control the rain: no floods, control the wind: no tornadoes or hurricanes, etc. Similarly, the sun and moon might move on their own, but be inconsistent or unpredictable; Unicorn control makes the days and nights a consistent length.
It can't be equal, or at least, Celestia and Luna don't do equal times. Otherwise, there would be no point to the Summer Sun Celebration, which is the summer solstice.

I can't believe noone has ever discussed this before. So what Disney character do you think each of the Mane Six would be?
Here's what I came up with
- Twilight Sparkle - Belle
- Rarity - Cinderella
- Pinkie Pie - Esmerelda
- Applejack - Tiana
- Fluttershy - Pocahantas
I can't think of anyone for Rainbow Dash

It's pronounced "Te-ah-low-ve"
Rarity
wants to be a Cinderella story, but I think she is more like Tiana. A total workaholic.
But not completely like Tiana, since Tiana didn't think much of the whole Cinderella story thing. They don't map very exactly.

@Enlong: What I meant is that they keep a schedule rather than having the day and night switch at random like they did while Discord was in control.
Nah, I'm going with the
World Of Ponycraft interpretation. Dash is a Barbarian there.
Tick Tock, goes the clock/ He cradled and he rocked her/ Tick Tock, goes the clock/Till River kills the Doctor.
The benefit of controlling the Sun is that you can fix the calendar so no more leap-year nonsense.

And now due to the fact that apparently before Equestria was truly founded the Earth Ponies were the downtrodden bunch, I'm now thinking that
this song
is
Suspiciously Apropos Music.
Tick Tock, goes the clock/ He cradled and he rocked her/ Tick Tock, goes the clock/Till River kills the Doctor.
Again, I'll bet each "tribe" had its own position as to who the downtrodden ones were.

I think someone already posted that; we had a debate over whether Rarity's Fluttershy-hat is too gaudy for a pony like her to wear.
