I don't recall that coming up at all. The way I remember it, their personalities clashed, but ultimately they had to work in tandem to solve cases. Their greatest strength is in bouncing ideas back and forth at high speeds like in House

Yeah, Equestria seems to be a place that isn't exactly riddled with extreme crimes or any that are thoroughly negative. They seem like they'd be something silly like a muffin thief, or someone's stealing the weather, or the crime was meant to help someone but it went wrong.

My idea for a criminal would basically be a Moriarty esque Chessmaster. A Xanatos Gambit wielding villain who only ever uses his skills... to do incredibly stupid and petty stuff, like stealing a filly's balloon or breaking a flowerpot.
