@Boobus: You're forgetting something:

In case you've forgotten, THIS ISN'T YOUR AVERAGE GIRL'S SHOW. It was created by a feminist woman for christ's sake, and the writers have proved themselves competant enough to keep the characters' personalities on track.

I for one would love to see a romance-based episode in MLP because I trust the writing staff to do it well. (i.e. the dude isn't a complete dick like Blueballs, glueblood, Black-and-Blueblood.)

Also, since this isn't your typical girl's show and Status Quo is NOT God, I'd like to see if they'd keep the guy around as perhaps a minor reoccurring character like Zecora or Big Mac.

My opinion is different than yours, DEAL WITH IT.

Sure romance is possible in theory. But considering this show is mainly for little girls they woul be too young to understand and fully enjoy a romantic story.

That's better...one episode establishing the plot...very small referances in later episodes.

Romance would destroy the point of the show. The moral is that friendship conquers all, not love. If a mane character were to end up caring about a guy more than she does her best friends then...

once. just once. Don't make me sit through it. don't ruin my happiness. Let me imagine a world where friends can be more important than finding your lover.
