Actually, it's not romance (since I ship Spitfire/Soarin') . It's romance involving THESE specific 6 characters. You're supposed to value the person you love above all else, INCLUDING your friends. The idea that these 6 friends will one day find people they care about MORE than each other just makes my stomach churn

I'm honestly not trying to derail, but something just hit me:

Would Doug have a problem with Celestia being called a princess rather than a queen, even though she SHOULD be given her position? (He's expressed his hatred for this trope numerous times before)

But it's everywhere!! It's been done well COUNTLESS times before. Just let ONE show go without it. Is that so wrong?

I really don't know how to explain it. I'll just point to Disney Princess and run. In all seriousness, take a look of girls shows sometime. Most of the time, they are involved with romance. Not every little girl gives a damn about it. They can just watch a Disney movie if so.

Equestrian Royal protocol is rather hazy. I'd like it if that was cleared up, actually. Why is Celestia adressed invariably as Princess? Is there a distant Queen we don't know of? (Faust, I'm guessing lol) We have Prince Blueblood, but he's not an Alicorn, just a Unicorn. Are Alicorns the only ones allowed to rule?

I'd like a good look at Equestria's Constitution.
