@Born In: Darn, there was a list somewhere on Tv Tropes with all pony pics for tropes pages, but I can't find it now. It was about a dozen a while ago, so I'm sure there will be more now.

I'd say the show's style lends itself really well to these pictures, especially for emotions and so.

Since I am quite Twilightish sometimes, I have now prepared a Powerpoint presentation on the origins and impact of the show to show my dad tomorrow in my pony-coming out ^^.

Also, I just watched "May the best pet win" twice in a row and I'm pretty sure I now have a favorite episode. Also, I posit that it would be an excellent episode to show to newcomers (Dashie is the main character, she is quickly characterized in the episode, you don't really need any prior knowledge on any of the Mane 6 for it, great music, the most crazy humor in the series so far, not sappy, lots of things going on, etc.).

lol your presentation to your dad reminds me of that Dexter's Laboratory episode where he tries to convince his dad to get a dog.

Also, you kind of do need to know some things about the characters before you watch this episode. The jokes with the other pets will be funnier if you know that Gummi is an odd ball, Pinkie acts crazy by nature, and Spike just appears in the middle of the episode, seemingly, for no reason other than to say, "oh yeah, I exist in this show! I gotta run to the gorge and say 'Oh no! Dash!' to show I care!"
