I LOVED Over A Barrel, but I'm aware that my tastes are somewhat unusual.

It gave us our first real display of EP awesomeness (plus Braeburn!)

What was the controversy exactly?

Ginger: Some people didn't like the way the buffalo were portrayed and accused the show of racism.

Racism? what is racist about it? Its got about as much racism towards texans.

Every time some mironity show up in show someone will complain about it on internet. (That should be some rule).

I tend to think of it as "this is how we should have done it, we'd show you how it actually happened but it kinda goes against everything the show believes in."

I don't mind Giggle at the Ghosties, if only because it gave us
Twilight: Tell me she's not.
Rarity: She is.

What is the least propeller episode?

If I had to guess, I'd say Feling Pinkie Keen

maybe Applebuck Season (because it's an AJ episode)

Have we seen any propellers?

No I hear Applebuck Season is fairly popular.

But I also hear Owl's Well That Ends Well is considered meh by fans.

I like it though.

HOW CAN I HAVE FORGOTTEN THE TANKCOPTER?

"Applebuck Season" is one of my favorite episodes. AJ falling asleep while suspended upside-down in the air is priceless. Then, there's the whole catapult scene, "Baked bads, " the bunny stampede... I could be here all day talking about why this episode is awesome. AJ is best underappreciated pony.

Owl's Well wasn't my favourite, but it's not like I dislike it either. Dastardly Spike was hilarious.

I liked Applebuck Season as well.

The ones I probably like least are Over A Barrel (not because of the implications, but because I thought the cast felt like side characters in their own show), and Cutie Mark Chronicles (because I didn't find the flashbacks all that interesting outside of Twilight's and Pinkie Pie's).

I know Look Before You Sleep was considered So Okay It's Average when it first came out, but it seems to have grown on the fandom a bit.

Owl's Well that Ends well...I haven't quite made up my mind. I've never been a big fan of the "character feels unloved because of a misunderstanding" plot, but Dastardly!Spike was hilarious enough that I didn't mind too much. Basically, I like the jokes, but the actual plot was meh.

One thing about that episode: Why couldn't AJ hear anything? Does hitting your head REALLY impair your hearing like that?

Also, I love how it doesn't SHOW us how AJ gets down from being suspended upside down.

As You Know I believe that the main villains of the series represent things that disrupt harmony

• Nightmare Moan is darkness
• Discord represents madness/chaos/anarchy

so maybe future ones will represent

• fear
• famine/plague
• sin
• and stupid

It suffered from a bit of Tough Act to Follow coming after Bridle Gossip, if I remember correctly.

All this Peeler talk, and watching the finale of Ashes to Ashes give me a great idea.

A town that is 'protected' by the ghost of a long dead watchpony/constable, who haunts lawbreakers and scares them away from the place. The townsponies are grateful for their protection, though they are still afraid of them.

Sadly, no previews or clips.

I'd actually put it in my bottom 10 episodes. (Maybe it's because I think Zecora and the poison joke memes are overrated?)
