First, wanting BB dead is silly.

Second, there's not enough male characters to do a spear counterpart of the mane six,

Discord was a fun villain, I am not arguing that. I was simply saying from a moral standpoint. In fact I want him to break free from his stoned home and try to have a moral dilemma by asking "Is it right to kill someone for the sake of good"? I'd be interested in what the FIM writers would have to say.

Yeah, Discord and NMM are the only villains so far who even come close to deserving to die. Blueblood and Trixie just need to get their egos deflated a little, and Gilda just needs an attitude readjustment.

My headfanon is that he isn't REALLY trapped in stone. Those elements that he gave the mane cast were fakes, and he just PRETENDED to turn back into stone at the end.

He's already teleported away, leaving a stone replica behind

I've always seen the elements as more of a purifying force than anything else; hence why NMM reverted into Luna while Discord got petrified.

I don't think the elements can actually DESTROY anything. Otherwise, why didn't they straight up kill Discord, rather than merely imprisoning him?

unless this means Discord is actually STRONGER than the elements, meaning they physically CAN'T destroy him?
