Disqord can't be stronger than Element. There wasn't even battle when Mane Cast activated elements against Disqord.

They are like the others. Strange, hideous, resisting, fighting. Only these were not like the others. They did not die.

I meant maybe he's too strong for the elements to flat out destroy. (though I'm of the opinion that they CAN'T destroy anything)

They don't destroy, they harmonize. They neutralize a source of Discord, and sadly Discord was forced into a state of neutrality.

Does that mean there could be an enemy which the elements DON'T work against? Not becuase he's too strong, but because he isn't actually causing any disharmony

Now I'm imagining some sort of Omnicidal Maniac who wants to create 'ultimate harmony' by getting rid of everything.

And there's no reason why discord couldn't be stronger than the elements - he didn't even try to fight against them. He took the shot because he was too cocky to do anything. When it comes down to a force-to-force the two forces neutralize one another, as Mousa said, but in an actual fight we would be able to dodge, and muck around with stuff. Celestia and Luna probably had a waaaaaaaaay harder time of it than the mane six.

I always wondered if a team like that could actually steal and then USE the elements for evil.

I wonder how much of a fight Luna and Celestia would've been able to put up if they DIDN'T have the elements

Does anyone else think the Fluttershy/Rainbow Dash duet was lackluster and forgettable? This show's best songs just pop into my head at random times, and stay there for a while. I honestly couldn't tell you right now how their song went.

I think the song gets better as it goes along. With the ending in particular standing out the most.

I really enjoyed it after RD's "What to do? What to do?"

I don't think that song was all that forgettable. So far, all of the major songs have been well made. However, the one song I liked the least would have to be Pinkie's Laugh at the Ghosties.

I don't think I've heard Giggle At the Ghostly more than twice (although admittedly I don't think I've seen the PILOT more than twice either

There's "You Gotta Share, You Gotta Care, " but it's supposed to be bad. It doesn't help that it comes from (IMO) the worst episode of the series.

BTW, I saw a clip a couple of months ago of the CMC's stage act, with Spinal Tap's "Stonehenge" dubbed in. CUTIEMARKCRUSADERSHEAVYMETAL! YAY!

I liked Over A Barrel...but I understand where all the controversy comes from.

Remember though, without that episode, we wouldn't have Braeburn...one of the few developed male characters on the show.

Giggle at the Ghostiest just didn't sound as good as the others. I think the problem lies in the intro and Pinkies sudden "ha, ha, ha."
