Suddenly I wish they released OST's of the background music. The one in the race in Sisterhooves Social is kinda fun to listen to.
Also, Sweetie Belle has the cutest voice ever.

That reminds me, both Nightmare Moon and freshly-depowered Luna talked like normal people (er, relatively speaking). So why, in Luna Eclipsed does repowered Luna suddenly go with Ye Olde English?

Early Installment Weirdness. Characterization Marches On. That sort of thing.
If you want something in-universe, NM tried to established herself as EEEEVVVIIIILLLL by talking as rudely (not the right word, but whatever, I'm no native) as possible. Of course, since this is still Luna we are talking about, her version of 'rude' is pretty much normal English. With NM defeated, she reverted back to her high-class accent.

Luna speak this way because it's tradition, but when she become NM she decided "Frak Tradition!" and speak in normal way.

Anyway, crack theory: Luna and Celestia had a third sister named Stella (associated with stars, of course), who unfortunately died at a young age... supposedly. Somehow, she's still alive, as Twilight Sparkle (note the cutie mark: a big star, with a bunch of other stars). She doesn't know that she's Celestia's and Luna's sister (yet), but the telling sign is that she has really powerful magic — even for a unicorn. This sounds like an idea for an alternate-continuity fic.
