As to Heart's Desire=Cutie Pox. Do we have any evidence Cutie Pox could effect those that already have a cutie mark? If not it makes it much more plausible no one would notice the connection, since plenty of ponies could eat the plant and not get it, and it's only when a younger pony with out a mark ate some they would get the pox. So since the majority of ponies had no ill effect from the plant, no one would suspect it caused Cutie Pox in younger ponies.

Also, re watching last episode, and about Zecora being able to fix Grannies hip, when she's giving AB the potion, she sayd "Drink it down before it's to late" which could imply her potions can only fix things that happened recently, as such Grannies hip could have been bad so long it's beyond Zecora's potions.

This was a good episode. Possibly better than Luna Eclipsed even. Definitely better than any other CMC episode. Glad that Zecora is becoming more important. I like her. I'm pretty sure that the thing on her flank is her cutie mark. It looks like a stylised sun (being from Africa, I see those kind of things) and that's what I assumed it was, but now I think it's a flower with the swirl symbolising mixing. It fits and would still fit due to some flowers looking similar to the sun in some art styles (like that one).

I liked luna eclipesed a bit more but it was a a very good episode. Worth the wait indeed. Certainly The sotlight is shifting bit this time towards the apple family.

Now Scootalo is the most underdeveloped of the CMC, she will need her own episode aswell

That wasn't a friendship report, so it doesn't count. I admit that I'm also a bit leery of that particular summary. I'm not really sure that I'm worried about the episode itself, so much as the fact that Spike seems to end up being the bad guy when he gets his own episodes. In Owl's Well that Ends Well, he did his little Snidely Whiplash thing, and going by the description, it looks like he's going to be causing more trouble. I'd hoped for a Spike episode that focused more on his relationships with the cast.
