More likely than not nothing bad will befall,

Diarrhea for one, and cramps of the belly,
Weakness of the muscles, they’ll feel just like jelly
Your heart rate might jump, you’ll feel pains in your chest
You might find yourself drowsy, like you need a rest
It can cause psychosis, though only short-term
It doesn’t last long, this I can confirm.
In extreme cases it can melt your liver,
But the chances are slim, merely a sliver.
I’ve even heard tell that it can cause cancer,
I’m trying for confirmation, but haven’t yet an answer.
On second thought never mind, maybe just stay in bed
If you take my medicine you might be better off dead!

Am I the only one who thought this new episode was just like Stare Master all over again? CMC try to get cutie marks, horrible consequences ensue, the CMC apologize, and immediately attempt it again.

Personally, I thought it was like Bridle Gossip all over again. Apple Bloom, Zecora, weird magical diseases ...

Not a particular one liner but I liked the part where Spike calms the flower sisters down by saying that AB isn't cursed before explaining that she only has a contagious disease which has no known cure called cutie pox, instantly causing the entire town to panic.

I also like Zecora's little callback "Bridle Gossip" as well.

More likely there's a french speaking nation of ponies out there that conquered Equestria at some point, and the French speaking rulers established their language above English. That's how it happened in real life. Or maybe French fashion is highly influential, once again like in real life.
