No, I'm plenty tolerant of Zecora (she's awesome) but I think a character looks even MORE awesome if they have to overcome something, or if they experience a few moments of failure every now and then.

Zecore really isn't all that perfect. Ok she knew what poison joke was and how to cure it, but she's lived in the woods, the ponies really go in there, so not like they'd be familiar while Zecora would be.

Swarm: She was no help against the parasprites.

Next time was Nightmare Night, where all she did was tell a story with some special effects, a story and effects that may have helped but the little ponies on edge and make them more afraid of Luna then they would have been without having just heard the story.

Cutie Pox: Sure she knew the cure and just happened to have it, but she also left AB alone with all her potions when anyone with a lick of Genre Saviness would have seen what AB would do.

She was also unnecessarily vague about the poison joke would do when she could have just told them it was dangerous. Hmm.

Zecora likes letting problems happen that she knows how to fix so she can look awesome.

I'd like to see her using some of her magic for a more... actiony? purpose sometime.

Also, I think it would be neat if AB did try apprenticing under her, and starts making potions and stuff. Scoots had a point, she did whip that potion up pretty well, even if it didn't exactly work. I think it would be pretty funny to see Applejack walk in on her mixing a cauldron, or something.

Wait, why DID AB need to whip up a potion anyway? Wasn't her plan to just EAT the Heart's Desire?

Don't be silly, everypony knows that random flowers have their most potent effects when carelessly brewed with unknown substances. That's just common sense.

Though interestingly enough, I've only seen Earth Ponies do it.

Sweetie Belle uses her tail to dust a table in Show Stoppers. Rarity carries a cake around in Party of One. I'm sure there are other examples too.

Sweetie doesn't MOVE her tail in any significant way though, she just swings it back and forth.

Rarity was utilising the SHAPE of her tail (since it's shaped like a coil) to rest the cake inside of it. Again, she wasn't controling her tail like a fifth limb

Yeah, Earth Ponies can apparently use their tail like an arm, which is something that other ponies tend to not do.

Also, I think there's the makings of an excellent plot for when Zecora inevitably messes up a recipe and her potion has some horrible side effects.

...like coughing up internal organs.

Is 'Zecora's brew has unintended side effects' going to be the new 'Twilight botches a spell'? If it means more Zecora I'm okay with that.

I Just thought of a great Idea for an episode, well episodes, or at least something I'd like to see. Two episodes (maybe more but that would be pushing it) that clearly take place at the same time, but each one featuring a different set of the Mane Six doing something different, and every so often you see one of the other groups doing there thing in the background.

Not a Roshoman plot, where each episode is the same event from a another ponies perspective, but two separate stories, where in each one you occasionally see the other one happening in the background, maybe interacting with each other a few times, or at the end.

I'd like to see that done with a character like Big Mac. While the mane cast are off on some amazing adventure to save Equestria, we focus in on Big Mac spending his day on the farm.

The next episode would show us the amazing adventure that we missed

More Zecora is always a good thing. I will say, though, that her "cock-a-doodle-doo" rhyme was so bad, it made me wince.

Am I the only one who thought this new episode was just like Stare Master all over again? CMC try to get cutie marks, horrible consequences ensue, the CMC apologize, and immediately attempt it again.

And still no songs. I don't know why this is bothering me, because there's tons of good fan music. By the 6th episode last season we'd already had 4 songs, so I hope they start making some soon.

I think they must be saving the songs for something big.

Maybe we're getting an entire musical episode?

Still no Fluttershy episode on the horizon. Has anypony checked on her since Luna befriended the hay out of her?

I was expanding on my Christmas episode theory with that. That leaked song with Pinkie could be just one of the songs that the Mane 6 sing about what they want. Of course, if they were all that length, there would only be about 30 seconds of episode left over.
