I like how in season 1 it's like, "the Everfree Forest oh no you shouldn't enter" and in this one Sweetie and Scoots are all like, "our friend just walked into the deadly forest, well, let's turn around and pretend we didn't see anything". :p

If it's the stars-and-stripes, it should be English.
Spanish would warrant, say, the coat-of-arms on Spain's flag.

@ Enlong: Whenever someone speaks French in an English cartoon, it's translated as "ye olde French" in the French dub, very over-the-top blue blood speaking. "Oncques ne fut témoin de mon désarroi, compagnon, fi donc!" and things like such. It fits with the very nobility-versed cutie mark.
The only exception was Pepe le Pew, who was dubbed with an Italian accent. Because, from the French's point of view, Italian people are about ten times more seductive than them.

I'm honestly trying to guage Apple Bloom's mood during the scene where she showed off her first cutie mark. I'm not sure if she was being smug, supportive, or dismissive.
At some points she didn't appear to be hostile DT and SS, and at others she was rubbing her skills in their faces.

That was more of a crowed speak rather than Lyra speaking. Also, I find it amusing that we can see Spike standing on all fours just a few seconds ago.
