I don't think there's too many decent candies in the States.

The only think I could recommend are the diversity. Southern is a particular favorite of mine. Barbicued catfish and gumbo are amazing.

There used to be a Cajun restaurant near me. I think it got replaced by a bowling alley or something. Never actually ate in there myself, unfortunately.

Funilly enough, I was once with someone from Germany who wanted to try a Twinkie. But unfortunately we couldn't find any. I guess they don't make them any more.

Sadly, its truly the end of an era.

Though there's some Genre Savvy buyers that snatched up all they could find and are still selling boxes on Ebay. So if your willing to pay a few hundred bucks, you can still try a Hostus cupcake or Twink before they're gone for good.

@ story: Hostess went bankrupt. Fortunately for junk food junkies, another company is going to start manufacturing Twinkies again.

@Morning Star: JT tells me that the event took place over a short peiod of time (like a day and a half) so Discord din't know Flutters was in trouble. He was travelling. That would be my idea. I mean, we know that Discord isn't going to just turn up every time that Flutters is in trouble from now on. (Though I do intend to use Discord's protectiveness of Flutters).

As far as the comic's canon goes, it currently doesn't contradict anything established by the show so far, but it does fill in a lot of gaps with information the show could easily contradict.

Re: Jolly Jammers, they look okay, but I've never been a big fan of fruit flavored candy. I prefer chocolate, caramel, nougat, nuts, that kinda stuff. But yeah, other countries can have really awesome candy. I remember on one of my flights back from Europe a bunch of us decided that rather than converting our Euros back into dollars, we'd blow it all on junk food at the Duty Free shop. Worth It.

Huh. I just watched Sweet and Elite today, and I really didn't notice. I can say for certain that at least most of the ones I saw were unicorns.
