Well I was just thinking of different ways of interperting the name. Fancy can mean whims or fantasys, so someone who is Fancy Free might be grounded and not easily distracted.

@Keg: It's an interesting idea, but yeah, there's really no good evidence for or against it.

That is an interesting theory Keg, but as you and many others have observed, there isn't any evidence to really support that sort of assertion.

I have a couple ideas for my fic:

Cadence and Twilight escape the mines. Perhaps with a little help from certain non-mane 6 ponies.
The windigos' invasion will expose Chrysalis and her invasion.
Diamond Dust, Celestia, and Chrysalis will duke it out, the former two may or may not Enemy Mine.
Changeling and windigos will ether fight over who gets to eat the ponies emotions, or will pull an Enemy Mine.
Diamond Dust's unnamed adviser will give the mane six a The Reason You Suck Breaking Speech, pointing out that the Elements of Harmony won't work because they betrayed their element (If the mane six reconcile by that point I'll keep that scene and have him get blasted, if not then the jewelry will freeze)
I've decided that it would be sueish to have the windigos take Celestia at the wedding. So I'll save that for when the Mane 6 stage their Orphean Rescue. (I'll still pull a Pyrrhic Victory)
Part of Cantelot will collapse (foreshadowed by Pinkie's tail). Another part will freeze over. and another part will be Covered in Gunge.
The amnesiac CMC will confront the Mane six, "I Know You're in There Somewhere" Fight ensues but will fail.

Do you have any suggestions on these ideas? A Nd before anyone asks, yes i did posted it on the fanfic thread, bot no-one responded.

Okay, um, that theory on the last page, I have a bit of an issue with.

If Applejack is rich, but hides it, then why would she go on about a goal of earning a ton of money at the Gala? Wouldn't that defeat the purpose of acting as though money isn't important?
