Actually, they all have their pony fur-colors as their skin colors (Well, Twilight looks a little pinkier than usual), and they're all wearing skirts. Even Rainbow Dash, look closely.

I guess keeping the fur-colors is to avoid Unfortunate Implications in regards to race. I hadn't notice the whole "combining the manes & tails" thing, will this apply to everyone? Will this be an entire universe where everypony has Badass Longhair? *gasp*
