The fanfic writers are going to have a fieldday out of the new setting if it's right. It may not be strictly canon, but we now have a separate continuity to put the humanizations in. Funnily enough, I never liked the concept of humanized ponies, but I'm starting to warm up to the idea.

I'm just waiting for ponified versions of the high school AU cast.

And, since today is apparently National Jump To Conclusions Day...

@Red, romured, though high liekly to be true news, that the Movie coming out to launch the new IP, is a High School AU with the mane 6 as humans. The good news, it is in fact AU and non-cannon to the show, and will not effect season

The thing about their skin colors is that RD really stands out as the only unnatural color, party because they made Twilight much lighter than she should be.

So, yeah. Looks fairly legit. But again. Long as it's made very clear that this is a one off AU that won't effect the actaul show. Doubt it'll be THAT big a deal.

And better to get the information out NOW, so that it'll have time to die down.
