Well, I was thinking under the assumption that dragon development works differently than that of ponies. For all we know, dragons mature relatively fast and age into their larger, more fearsome forms, which they then live the majority of their life as. It would make some sense, considering how it seems that adult dragons have no problem attacking baby ones. To survive, they'd probably have to mature fast.

Of course, this is all just my headcanon, so it doesn't really have any actual bearing.

So far, what made Spike the saddest was when he thought Twilight didn't love him anymore and didn't want him around. I'm probably bad for finding his sulky "Twilight HATES me" hilarious.

He hasn't had many episodes though.

Season 2 should fix that.

If anything I find Twilight/Spike more adorable than Rarity/Spike when I come to think about it (not in a romantic sense, just in a character interaction sense)

Ok now I'm picturing a 'Zeppo' episode for Spike, we see him go about his day to day activities while the Main Six pop up every few scenes rushing about taking care of some major crisis we never see.

He was sent away on Canterlot business without Twilight one time. I'd like to see an ep revolving around something like that. A journey that Spike has to take that leads him away from Ponyville and the rest of the cast

That's how I pictured a Big Mac episode funnily enough

Spike runs away and Big Macintosh helps search for him and ends up finding him. Some sort of monster threatens Spike so Macintosh kicks it away. The lesson is don't annoy giant red horses.

Yes. Big Mac would be the one who actually solves everything but since he doesn't talk much Spike takes all the credit. It would be a bit like the Green Hornet.

The Buffalo, and erm...that's about it actually.

This show fails a gender reversed version of that test...the test that requires 2 reguler female characters have a conversation about something other than males.

Spike talking to S & S fails, because it was about Trixie.
