@Roy: I wouldn't consider it far-fetched, but there wasn't any indication that it was the case either. It was basically one of those things that makes sense with the character but wasn't really implied either.

@Pykrete: that fanfic is And the Temptress came unto her.

It's definitely great for her characterization, though. She gets to give back to Equestria as a guide and protector, and possibly earn the appreciation she sought in the process.

I think, more importantly, she can be with her subjects even in their sleep.

And, um, totally not in a creepy way.

Unexpectedly, there's a couple of new Pegasus stallions◊ on the Adventures in the Crystal Empire DVD disc art—they appear to be Crystal Ponies, judging by their gradient-shaded manes (their eye highlights being rounded instead of polygonal is presumably an error, seeing as that also happens to other Crystal Ponies in this DVD's artwork and in the show), but there's no indication of whether they're naturally Crystal Ponies (which would make them the only natural non-Earth Crystal Ponies so far) or just temporarily Crystal Ponies (like other ponies are at the end of "The Crystal Empire - Part 2", in this DVD's artwork, and in the toyline).

What Could Have Been? Early-Bird Cameo? Maybe they'll show up in Season 3 Episode 12, perhaps at the Crystal Empire's big new stadium◊...

I hope Luna has ability to sense nighmares only. If she enters a pony's dream and s/he was having an erotic dream, it would be really awkward. It would be even more awkward if the said dream involves Luna herself.

funny you should bring that up, I literally just finished reading the prequel to that story.

Those stallions are also wearing the Crystal Solider armor that Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy wear for the jousting match. Could just be random stock vectors that don't mean anything.

We'll definitely see more of the Crystal Empire though, unless they just plan on dropping Cadance and Shining Armor off the radar.

My L-Space link says there should be a lot of these fics in existence, but fimfiction's lack of proper tagging/categorising means it's hard to find.
