That's the main reason I haven't sprung for a tablet yet. I just know that I'd end up leaving it lying around because I have too much other crap to do.

That won't be a problem for me. Unemployed, part time student...friends all out of the country...I have nothing but free time.

Yeah, I can see what you're thinking about the mane, Apple. It's kinda bugging me, too.

I like the tablet I purchased, however be aware that there is a learning curve in using it. Once you get used to using it though.... its definitely nice to be able to use the backup function on whatever drawing program you are using to remove a line that doesn't look right without messing up your drawing.

This is the tablet I ended up ordering.. although I think it was on sale when I bought it... I only paid 60 for it or something like that

I use Paint Tool Sai which is a freeware drawing program. I think the tablet I purchased came with Photoshop essentials but thats not exactly great to create with... its more for fixing up photos.

It doesn't look real does it? All the ponies have 'vaguely' realistic looking mane styles (from a human design, not pony).

I had something to say here, but I realized that you all knew what I was going to say.

I think from the front his hairstyle kinda looks like one of those 50's greaser hairstyles.

Its not a horrible learning curve, you just have to get used to the fact that you dont really have to press down hard to get a line. If you get a good tablet it will let you do variable pressures, light touch for thin line heavier for thicker, but you don't need to press nearly as hard as if you were using a pencil. It also has a weird texture that is more like drawing paper, but if you are using drawing paper instead of copy or notebook paper then that shouldn't bother you at all.

Positioning on the tablet is also something to get used to. You have this little tablet and a great big screen so judging distances and sizing takes getting used to.

Motivation...motivation for Batty...he wants to be a Knight...and to do so, he must slay a horrid beast...the bigger the better. Which is tricky...because animals freak him out. The smaller and cuter they are...the more he panics.

Evening everypony. What's going on?

Great name for a pony here.

So say that there's a story arc where they go to Ponyville, and he runs across Fluttershy. Cue him being cordial and saying hi and whatnot...until he notices Angel. Then a squirrel pops out of her fur and mice scamper around her hooves. He then runs away screaming like a little girl, the sound rising in pitch as he encounters more rabbits and squirrels around town.
