How did it give you a boost?
The same way getting featured in Equestria Daily does, except in a smaller scale.
Pretty much what Pannic said. Getting it posted on EQD meant that it managed to get enough hits to make the feature box, which means that it got more exposure, hence more hits, hence it now gets into the featured box when I update it. Of course, it's usually only in there for about half an hour before something else bumps it out, but I'll take what I can get.
Oh, duh. I know how that works. Sorry.
Wow, I think that might be one of your best yet.
@Applelight: I really like it.
Yeah, he looks good ^^ I did like his previous mane style though, with the sort of fang-ish bangs hanging in front of him. That hairstyle looks a bit Wonderbolt-ish.
Axios!
He looks rather sideways.

I take it 1000 likes is really high?

Make a Wish ended up with 450 Likes, but I earned those pretty steadily over time with ten chapters and 30k words. These people and their lucky breaks in the feature box make me feel bad, but it's not that big a deal.
That's pretty good, Apple.
The one with the lance is so cool.
Applelight are you using drawing pencils or regular old pencils? I found when drawing that if you get some of the softer charcoal pencils they flow better. That might just be a personal preference on my part though.
@Story: I'm at 50K words and seven chapters, and I haven't hit 600 yet.
That reminds me of how inferior games would be so much more popular back when I was in the IWBTG fangame scene.

@Story: Yeah, it's frustrating sometimes. Although the good news is that my story apparently has decent dedicated base who seem to appreciate what I'm trying to do, so there's that, at least. I'd rather have a dedicated niche following than hundreds of people who will probably upvote anything that amuses them.
