Pinkie says the rock farm is "outside of Ponyville". I assume she meant its near Ponyville, or why not say something like "outside of Manehatten"? That's assuming they're still at the rock farm anyways...

Something about a series of letters, essays, and interviews that Twilight writes about this human dude he lives with... and some stuff about sexual taboos. I don't get it.

I'm actually sort of talking with the author, about how much I don't get it. It's actually very pleased that I seem to be the first person who isn't just squeeing over it it and contributing to its 364 likes. Fuck. Why can't my stories get that kinda rating? And it's at three chapters and less than three thousand words.

I'm noticing there's a fair number of stories where I seriously do not understand what is supposed to be appealing about them...

Yeah, I don't get it either. Is it something written by an author who's already popular? Because once an author hits the big time they're pretty much guaranteed to hit the feature box even if the story sucks.

Speaking of fanfic, several pages ago, I thought about writing a pony fanfic in which the entire cast is human.

It sounds nonsensical (it wouldn't be a pony fanfic, to begin with), but also very tempting.

As long as it sticks to the characterization it could still count.

The fimfiction userbase seems rather... odd. Looking at the announcements for any sort of layout change, or anything of the sort, further proves it, at least at the time where I still looked at the comments in such posts. It's no wonder knighty and poultron are so abrasive.

Maybe I should give this a try. Who knows, it might be famous. Probably not for good reason, though. XD

Yeah, it can be rather...odd. Fortunately most of the people I interact with over there on a regular basis are okay, though. Then again, the stuff I write tends to be a rather narrow niche, so of course it's only going to appeal to people with similar tastes.

Oh, I've seen the feature box get more fucked up than that. This is why you don't automate it.

I'd complain more about it, but once getting into it gave my story a major boost I can't be too hard on it, even if 90% of what goes into it is stupid.
