Huh, this isn't bad, though oddly dark. I guess that's due to the anime it's based off. Wait... It's not finished... OHGODWHYWOULDYOUDOTHATTOME!

Season 3's airing November 10th

Sweeeeeeeet. That's... three weeks from now?

I'm glad its starting on the 10th, I have a wedding the first weekend of November and I would have ended up missing it.

Well, I've only read the short story from MLD, and it was pure crack. The Dresden Fillies actually has a storyline and while it's rather dark and serious, it has quite a nice sprinkling of humour and waff to balance it out. It definitely isn't much worse than Canterlot Wedding. It's still much nicer than the books.

The sequel is being currently written, and still incomplete. It has Bob in it, and he is his smartass lecherous self. Expect a lot of dirty jokes from him. As for the story itself, it's a mixed bag. While nobody has been seriously hurt so far, I find it much creepier than the relatively straightforward first volume. By that I mean it moves from a typical D&D game to Paranoia. Ok, maybe that's an unfair comparison, but you get the point.

The point of this little tirade is, if you can accept a pony story that tries a more serious tone, with clashing moral codes and well intentioned extremists, while still retaining the funny and adorable of the source material, jump right in.

Yeah FOREVER! is just a one shot little fun romp with little to it besides the humor MLD HOLY SHIT! Though if the idea of Ponies racking up a kill count distubs you, don't read it, though it's played very very seriesly and when it happenes is treated as a huge HUGE deal and not something that should EVER happen. for a little softening, of the 4 ponies that have outright killed someone, 1 was under demonic possession at the time and not in control, 2 more were accidental (they didn't know what they did would be lethal) and the one conscious choice was to stop that person from shooting another pony.

Well it is now. D:

Dresden Fillies has a more somber tone but the only death in it was the villain of the first story. My Little Denarians is more playful, but gets way darker and most of the cast is implied or shown to have a pretty big body count by now, up to and including Derpy.
