That is badass my friend, truly badass. I think his front legs are too small though, or perhaps that's all his legs, either way, good.

Sai is the magic I needed all these years, there was no way I was going to get used to a tablet and true vectoring is like an art unto itself, but sai has made inking art the exact way it should be, simple point and click for Luddites like me.

I'm basically traditional materials and would have probably continued that way were it not for the fact traditional art gets overlooked big time, so I have to adapt.

If I have one gripe with with this digital colouring schtick is that I basically lose a whole day dedicated to a single image, I want through like a Doctor Who Audio drama and the majority of the first season of The Amazing World of Gumball just for this! And it's 3 in the bleeding morn!

Well, I'm used to it already Traditional Media has no undo button, although I can make dupes.

Traditional media also has texture and tactile input, I can't draw when I can't feel it, nor when I can't bring my face right to the image from a top-down angle. I nee sketching to feel like sketching.

Mousa: I see what you mean. Looks like I messed up a bit of the shading and let it blend too much, because the frontal foreleg loses a bit of volume to it. Although double checking my reference, I didn't do them as muscly as I should have either. I guess I've spent a bit too much time with mare proportions. Thanks for the feedback, though.

I just found out really terrible news. A brony artist who's artwork I really liked, and who seemed to be a really nice person in general, passed away not too long ago. I don't know what it is she died from, but the comments on her DA profile and a post on her tumblr pretty much confirm that she's dead.
