Are tablets still helpful for pixel art?

@Yeller: Not really.

Now I'm curious to introduce the ponies to some of our board games :D

My guesses to what they'd like: Twi would love Scrabble, Pinkie would eagerly play all of them, Rarity would play Mastermind like a boss.

I bet Twilight would be the best at Mastermind.

I wonder what Celestia thinks of Risk.

Yeah, she would be. Pinkie and Dashie would totally get into Snakes and Ladders.

Maxiburger's JPN commentary update!

[up] I dunno, but it would funny to see and Luna play each other off in Risk,

Risk relies too much on the chance of the die roll. They would probably prefer to play something more skill based.

Snakes and Ladders is a stupid game. There's absolutely no skill involved whatsoever. It's just an unnecessarily long and convoluted way of drawing straws.

[up] Strangely apropos ninja is strangely apropos.

Lily Blossom isn't a Fluttershy recolor; she's actually one of the few toy line exclusive ponies to have original artwork

Twilight would probably enjoy Mastermind at first, but get bored when she figured out the six-guess algorithm.

And she would figure it out.

Candlyland is the same except the youngest person has an advantage. Pinkie would love it.

@J Teeth, it was in reference to your drawing of RD and Derpy.

He uses traditional materials I believe. Nowadays I only use pencils if I'm drawing people. Ponies I just go all digital.

Paint Tool Sai is a digital art program. I haven't personally used it because it's commercial and for what I need GIMP works fine. A lot of people do their lineart traditionally then scan it in to clean the lines and color it.

I have an ancient copy of Photoshop 6.0 (which predates the CS family :P), still works on my teeny little Atom-powered netbook.

It would be fun to have some kind of art episode for S3.

I have GIMP 2.6, and some trial copies of Photoshop and Corel Painter (no clue which versions) that came with my rarely-used tablet. The main thing I even use GIMP for anymore is adding transparency to PNGs :P

Well, it would help if her personality was appropriately G4'd to match.
