@Turtle That's supposed to be like Los Angles, not Las Vegas. It even has it's own version of Hollywood.

As for Hoofington and Trottingham, they could simply be not large enough to be of note on the map.

@Death Those towns are significant to the show, though.

Another possibility is that those towns aren't in Equestria. Pip has a pretty heavy accent, so he could easily be a foreigner. I'm actually starting to think that Trixie might have just made Hoofington up, too. Not only did she save a town from a threat that didn't exist, but the town didn't exist either!

Las Pegasus sounds more like Las Vegas than it does Los Angeles. I would think they'd have spelled it Los Pegasus if it was supposed to be LA.
