But! How many characters in the show share the same face?
Everything's been done. Everything has a meaning. However your life at best is to serve as a building block for others.
And are there any movies/shows in cel-shaded CGI I can see for reference?
The Giant from
The Iron Giant. The spaceships in
Futurama and the original
Star Wars: Clone Wars.
Low low low low low low low low low low low times.
Wow, you guys weren't kidding about the same face stuff.
Life is simple: it has no nontrivial normal subgroups.
Maybe I'm just bad at seeing it, but they don't look that same-face to me.
Chi Blocking can be a fun party activity.
I totally get where you're coming from Mousa, but this is getting a little... repetitive.
Cell shaded CGI is everywhere.
Wind Waker was cell shaded.

Only Six Faces doesn't really bug me. In fact I kinda I like it.
See when some tries to draw something too distinct, the faces end up looking deformed.
However, this is coming from a guy loves the artwork for Detective Conan sooooo

Ponies can differentiate each other by color and CM so they don't bother looking at faces.

Have to agree with this one.

Don't give into the pressure of society, just be yourself, be fun, be crazy
@Mousa: Chill out. The thread is on mod watch now, so we need to keep the drama and derails to a minimum.
I did like that the animators are plugging more body and face and hair styles into the show. Every pony seems less...generic now.
