@Sky: That AJ pic isn't strictly anime though. That's my thought. It honestly looks more like high-quality cel-shaded CGI.

I think Jayson Thiessen once said in an eqd interview that if they were making a movie and they had enough of a budget, they would go with cel shaded CGI.

I don't have any examples of cel shaded CGI right off the bat, but go look up a game called Borderlands. Something like that, but more suited to the show's style.
