Here's my problem with The Villain Song, to which most people have seemed to give many lauds: the lyrics. They're so incredibly... straightforward. Almost childish at times. Just read the third verse on paper and you'll see what I mean:

I could care less about the dress
I won't partake in any cake
Vows, well I'll be lying when I say
That through any kind of weather
I'll want us to be together
The truth is I don't care for him at all

No I do not love the groom
In my heart there is no room
But I still want him to be all mine!

The singing and the instruments are fantastic, but damn those lyrics. They more or less ruin the song for me.

I think a video game based off this episode would be pretty awesome. You start out shooting at the ice before Twilight found the real Cadence, then fight the bridesmaids, changelings, etc

I can only speak for myself, but I think Shining Armor's relationship with Princess Cadence is a perfct metaphor for the the fandom's love for this episode.

I wouldn't be too surprised if someone in the fandom actually made it.
