I dunno, I rarely care for the opposite-gender songs. The singing didn't grab me as much as it did for Cadence's version.

..can girls even do that? Can horses even do- Y'know what? Forget I asked.

I missed a portion of the episode...
Did they EVER mention Twilight's parents?

Presumably, Twilight knows better by now.

Am I the only one who thinks the nickname "[blank]-pants" is odd for a species that almost never wears pants? Gives you something to think about, doesn't it?

Random headcanon time:

Chrysalis and her army went out of their way to
avoid waking up Luna. Not only would she wipe out a good portion of her forces, but if Celestia was somehow freed and they confronted her two-on-one, it would put an end to her plan then and there (as it would beat her "I've been draining power from this poor sap for the past few days and adding it to my own" advantage).
"I've come to the conclusion that this is a very stupid idea."
I couldn't find it in the end credits, but once Cadence started singing I realized she could be Rhonda from Hey Arnold! I know voice actors pop up in a lot of shows, but considering Hey Arnold!'s kids were voiced by children and teenagers themselves, I thought that was pretty neat.

On a related note, apparently Applebloom is voiced by an actual kid as well (10 or 11 as of Season 1, I believe). Not sure about the other CMCs.
Also, HOLY FUCK can Rebecca Shoichet (Twilight's singing VA) ever sing! Either that, or the audio post-production team for the finale consisted of God. I mean, she was impressive in Winter Wrap-Up, but I think she just blew her previous performances out of the water.

In honor of the season finale, I put together a more complicated piece than my usual "one pony" shots. I have spent way more time on this than initially planned, I still don't have a handle on half the stuff GIMP can do, but if I keep picking at this, I'll just ruin it.
So
here it is.
◊ These are the four pony versions of a story I've been tinkering with since high school. The story itself is not a pony story in any way, but it was a fun challenge to convert them into pony form. So...yay? The background is a shot of the cliff from the Season 1 premiere at the Everfree Forest cliff thing.

...okay, I've discovered that there are others who also can't unship Rarity/Donut Joe. This pleases me.
Why Does Tyn Not Approve?
The first thing we do, let's ban all the Fanwork Bans.
I could easily see Rarity as a Bond Girl.

SA just got married, people.
Seriously, leave him alone for a little while.

Plus hoops and dumbell died in his latest story too :(

Pffft, SA/Blueblood. Shining Armor/Fancy Pants is where it's at.
