I doubt season 2 will take as long to get on Netflix. They didn't even decide to carry MLP until they got a massive number of requests to do so.

Given how the fandom has made it one of the top-streaming series on Netflix, it's only a matter of time before Season 2 hits their streams :D

Bit of a derail, but I just remembered that the very first thing I saw in the show actually almost turned me off of the series. For those wondering, it was the scene in Sonic Rainboom where Rarity mentions switching the music from rock and roll because, one, implying anybody listens to rock anymore, and two, implying people have called it rock and roll since the 70s at the latest. [/trollbait]

I figure there's more factors than popularity though, seeing as plenty of highly viewed shows still making new episodes such as Glee or Family Guy are rather slow and more episodes are usually not added until a bit into the next season. Plus, some shows on instant stream don't include what seems to be the most popular. The Rugrats, for instance, are missing the first few seasons, which is in my opinion the best seasons. Sorry for the mini-rant.

Well, it was back when I still saw the series as just another kid's show-turned-meme and wasn't aware of all the things that make it amazing, and didn't really know about the brony fandom at all. I liked the animation, but with nothing else to go on, I thought things like Rarity's gaudy, over the top makeup were commonplace in the series as something othe than jokes.

Oh, fair enough I guess.

I simply cannot describe how amazed I was by this explosive conclusion! (mostly because everypony's already beaten me to the punch)

As to the next Netflix release, I'm not expecting it to arrive anytime soon. As I have seen, Netflix is very shy about new releases. It took them about several months to release the latest season of Doctor Who, and my dad told me it took them a while to do the same with How I Met Your Mother. So given the circumstances, we'll probably have to wait in Valve time for Season 2. (Okay, that was a little harsh...)

And as for the wait for Season 3, I can say that I will survive. I have enough non-poni diversions (DDO, Descent and other such things) to last me.
