Very good point, actually.

Wikipedia says not this week.
New episode synopsis.
When I saw the title, my first thought was of
Hurricane Neddy. *meep!*
Panhandling sign glued to hands. Need $5 for solvent.
I will simply say: Hasbro, I am disappoint.
But, it is not a big enough deal to lose sleep over, so I'm just going to avoid the drama as best I can.
EDIT: And sign the "Save Derpy" petition. And help people acquire the original version of the episode through Completely Legal Means that in no way involve the embryonic form of plants or large quantities of fast-moving water.

"Someone who is nice to you, but rude to the waiter, is not a nice person." —Dave Barry
I'm ambivalent on the voice and the name, although I am kinda disappointed that they underped her eyes. I mean, that was her defining characteristic.
To be fair, she's had underped eyes before. They just weren't cowed into it.
I like the new voice personally. As much as it sucks that they were forced to change it, I wasn't really comfortable with how the how she sounded before. She came she came across as actually retarded rather cartoony dumb.
Wait, what? When did Derpy get a new voice?
There's still no actual news on whether it was Hasbro or iTunes, guys. It's only the iTunes version that was changed, after all - the episode is being released unaltered on the DVD's. Plus, if you listen carefully, that doesn't sound like Ashleigh Ball saying Dash's altered line at the beginning there.
That picture breaks my heart...
It's also very stupid. I hate it when people cram dark where there is no place for it.

Pretty much. I get that we're all miffed about the change, but seriously, that's emotionally manipulative.
