Eh, that's just because I've always liked seeing people argue over things like that { Pass the popcorn anyone?}. Though I still wonder why that wasn't talked about on ponibooru when just about any other time someone with an online show mentions mlp fim, they get talked about.

That's the other reason I haven't bothered. Haters tend to not be receptive to logic, and everyone else already knows.

And let's face it, us bronies can be a bit ridiculous and obsessive. It's in good fun, obviously, but still, I can get why a bunch of young and not-so-young adults discussing what they cutie marks would be like if they were ponies is a little weird.

I actually do remember being of CMC age, reading about the liar paradox, and thinking "woah, this is awesome, I want to play with this sort of thing forever". As far as Cutie Mark origin stories go, it's not as engaging as those of the Mane 6, but still.

If there wasn't potential confusion with factorials, I'd just say use ! and be done with it, but then I'm a programmer.

I never saw that being used for contradiction — sometimes for negation, as in C, although ¬ or overlining are usually preferred. The contradiction I am talking about is when you derive something to be both true and false, which is generally a sign that there is something wrong with your premises. So for example you can use it in proofs by contradiction — you know the idea, "Suppose that A is false .... blahblahblah .. then B is true and B is false. Therefore ⊥. Therefore A must be true."

Plus, ! has another meaning apart from the factorial. In resource-sensitive logics — basically, logics that keep track of how many times you use a certain premise — !P is the way for saying "use the premise P as many times as you need". For some weird reason, that meaning of ! is usually called "exponential", but eh...

What good mlp games are they by the way?

Plenty of amazing-looking ones in the works, but not a whole lot that are done. Making a decent game is sadly a task of many months, and the series has only been going for a bit more than a year.

This one's in a playable state at least, but it's a bit...uh...intense.

I guess it looks worse than it really is because the guy playing seems to have no concept of how to stream aimed bullets :V

I'm kinda in the middle of writing a fic involving an OC who's been turned to stone (by mistake), and the only character who can hear him is Discord.

Discord wastes no time in slowy breaking the poor pony over the course of three in-universe months. (87 days, to be exact).

When Twilight and the gang finally find a spell to release him, they get much more than they bargained for.

He he he he... I'll see Celestia's kingdom fall, even if I have to do it one pony at a time.

Yeah, the level like that would be the last push before Discord's stage. I was thinking the midboss would be different depending on who you're playing as — like Applejack fights Eppaljeck, Twilight fights a very uncanny purple spider, somepony fights Krastos, etc. — and the boss would be an elaborate three-phase deal against (you guessed it) psycho Pinkie. *

Yes, this can indeed result in Pinkie vs. Pinkie.

First phase's attacks have a demented storybook theme. Second phase is an interlude against Discorded CMC's (think Prismrivers) and a shameless opportunity to choreograph a battle to this. After you blast the ugly off them and they get away, in the final phase Pinkie draws "your number" and completely flips her shit.

I like those ideas. I think that Rainbow Dash would probably fight the Rainbow factory version of herself.

Or RAINBOW DASH ALWAYS DRESSES IN STYLE. She could attack you with scrunchie traps that constrict your movement.

It doesn't all have to be grimdark, so much as uncanny and freaky.
