^There was a hidden Derpy during Rarity's song.
Sorry, I can't hear you from my FLYING METAL BOX!
I missed her? Where was she hidden?

She appears in the bit with Rarity surrounded by headshots of various Canterlot residents. Derpy's dressed in her Halloween costume.

Ahhh I will have to go back and relook at that.

Yes, Photo Finish is in the gallery scene, center left.
Also, Rarity is even more best than before.
still pretty damned festive

So I was wondering...
Dude where is the mane 6's respect?

But Rarity got her dresses ordered by Hoity Toity and THEY'VE SAVED THE WORLD TWICE. There's stained glass windows in the castle! And that's not going into them being best friends with BOTH princesses.

How come if I ever decide to come to this thread no one sees me?
But the last time I came to this specific thread I posted the funniest comic ever and no one commented.
So Trollestia told the upper-class "Yeah ignore the wielders of the Elements of Harmony. Be total dicks to them."

The Discord and Nightmare Moon incidents only directly affected Ponyville, and were successfully contained to that area. The inhabitants of Canterlot never even noticed.

Rarity probably wouldn't want to be famous for saving Equestria anyway. She'd want to be famous on her merits as an artist and pony of class and refinement.

I'm pretty sure Fancypants recognized the mane six right away. The rest were just too ignorant. Celestia's not involved.

What's the worst that could happen anyways?
Reposting this because I still think it makes sense.
I'm starting to think that this takes place before the second season timeline and possibly the first season finale. Given how Rarity is still glowingly talking about the glamor and funhappytime of the Grand Galloping Gala, as well as the fact that we don't see her glaring at Prince Blueblood when he appears, I suspect that the Mane 6 are still relatively obscure to the Canterlot upper society.
This is all conjecture, but it makes sense to me.

But then why is Rarity writing a "Dear Princess Celestia" letter at the end if Lesson Zero hasn't happened yet?

@Idler What about Hoity Toity then? Did Toity tell absolutely nobody?

@ Idler, perhaps Lesson Zero also happened earlier? I don't know, but I can't reconcile the Mane 6's accomplishments with the complete lack of knowledge of Canterlot's uppercrust, as well as the appearance of Prince Blueblood and Rarity not reacting when she saw him.

OK then... why do I suddenly hate Rainbow Dash after seeing Best Pet and Mare Do Well?

The only sure thing is that it did happen after the Grand Galloping Gala. Otherwise, Rarity would be all over Blueblood instead of ignoring him...
