Eh, the Finnish FIM dub isn't horribad. It's just bland and cookie-cutter. The voice actresses didn't even try to make up unique voices for the characters (Spike is very clearly the exact same voice as Misty from Pokémon, for example).

Finnish is good for talking about weather and growing potatoes. For all other topics, another language is more suitable.

By "cookie cutter", I don't mean it's very average, but rather that it was produced quickly and without any extra effort.

Honestly, I don't watch TV anymore, so I have no idea what the standards are nowadays, but I've watched some of the old Animaniacs Finndub clips on Youtube, and they're way worse than I remembered.

Huh, I thought "cookie cutter" meant "good enough with no real effort, but still good enough."

You know, like copypasting something that worked well for something else and just minor tweaks.

Yah, I don't watch TV much anymore either. The channels spew out crap I don't care enough to watch most of the time.

And yeah, it's shocking to see how bad some old dubs were, but you didn't care as a kid.

I think the next episode comes out next saturday. We'll finally have something canon to talk about.

BTW, who do you think is the best pony out of the mane 6? For me, it's a tie between twilight and rainbow dash, with the close second being a tie between pinkie pie and fluttershy.

My favorite is Fluttershy because she's basically the Equestrian equivalent to Socially Awkward Penguin, amusing because of how timid she is. ("Yay.", gently nudging a vase with a kick, screaming more silently than she speaks, ect., ect.)

Second favorite would probably be a tie between Pinkie and Rarity.

Rarity and Fluttershy are fan-fucking-tastic, followed by Twilight.

lol, what I mean is Who's your favorite pony, not best actor {I think all the american voices are great}.

I know I'm gonna get alot of shit for this, but the mane pony I like the least is applejack. Don't get me wrong, she's not a bad charector, and I do like the interactions she has with the others, but she just doesn't apeal to me as much for some reason.

I know this is off topic from the disscussion I just started, but this has been bugging me for a while. Why do so many people hate the episodes "Feeling pinkie keen" and "Over a barrel"? I know their both written by a guy who wrote scary movie 2 and a few south park episodes, but nearly everyone acts like their both the next "Not all dogs go to heaven"{A terrible family guy episode, in case your wondering}. In fact, Over a barrel is probely one of my favorite episodes so far.

People hate Over A Barrel? Really? It's one of my favorites, and it has the best Pinkie song in it!

But people hate Feeling Pinkie Keen just because it seems eerily close to a pro-religion argument, which not everyone is too keen on in a children's show about technicolor ponies.

"Over the Barrel" has one of those jokes.

If all of FIM was shit, but it had this single, solitary joke in it, it would still be worth it to me.

That single gag gives the episode several bundles of bonus points in my books.

I just did a little snooping around on the web, and I found out one of the reasons people hate Over a barrel. Aparrently people are upset that, in a way, the episode parodies the whole American/Indian concflict. I really don't know how to respond to that.

Feeling pinkie keen having reilgion undertones? I'm a reilgion respectful Christian{Not one of those "God hates fags" assholes}, and I don't quite see how that episode has those undertones to it.It seemed more like a weird fortune teller thing to me.
