Ponies seem to be a superstitious and cowardly lot. I wonder why they would even go along with a holiday like Nightmare Night.

It doesn't sound like the holiday was created specifically for Luna. That wouldn't make much sense.

What better day than Nightmare Night? IF they're scared of her, she can pass it off as being part of her act for the holiday, and then they can open up to her and learn that she isn't really that scary.

I would love a spooky musical number. Tabitha St Germain might - oh. Maybe that's why Kazumi Evans is Rarity's singing voice instead of Ms. St Germain - so she can sing for Luna!

I can so imagine Luna singing about her plans to scare the ponies. It would be awesome.

or would the song be half Luna planning, half the mane cast getting ready? One part is slightly ominous and threatening, the other is light and whimsical

Interesting. I think they use other performers when the characters sing because all singers need to be in the same booth when recording it- Tara Strong is in CA, etc...

Yeah, this two-part premiere had no songs, which was surprising. I think it's because again, they had too much plot that they wanted to use!

When Luna shows up in Ponyville, do you think she'll be running around on her own trying to win ponies over, or will she enlist the aid of one of the mane cast to help her? I can see her going to Twilight for advice on making friends, since she's no doubt heard a lot about her from Celestia, but everything backfires.

Well... Pinkie would obviously be her best bet for an event like this

Maybe Luna takes the advice of the cast too seriously, and misinterprets it to think that they want her to be scary

You know that drawing I asked you guys about? I fixed it up and it was on Equestria Daily's drawfriend! Yay!

Anyways, I really hope that the Halloween episode is good. Although there is sure to be backlash with Luna and possibly Ditzy in it. I think it would be really interesting if Luna asked someone from the main cast to help her. Maybe not even just one of them, what if she asked all of them to help her?
