@Crow: The latter, I'm guessing. Keep the flash, but just spend a lot more time tweaking it. Doing a full art shift would take forever because you'd either have to have the current animators adapt it for a new medium, or get somebody else to do it who hasn't worked on it before.

@Osias: So you're saying that if they did make an MLP movie, you'd avoid it solely because it's a movie?

@osais That's actually been my headcanon for a long time, though in my head they were down one member thanks to Luna betraying them, which is why they could only seal her in the moon rather than purify her.

Well if nothing else, a Mulp-Fim movie would be highly profitable for Hasbro.

If there was a 2-2.5 hour long movie made on relatively the same budget as the show, the bronies alone could theoretically make up for it.

Not only that, but if the movie was marketed in the style of Disney's Tangled (i.e. more gender-neutral), then families would eat it up.

However you slice it, Hasbro's going to be rolling in cash.

This probably actually happened.

I'm not sure if such profit would be guaranteed. Bronies or not, theatrical releases of movies based on still running cartoons traditionally don't do so well.
