They need to be properly spaced for marketing reasons. Regular releases mean people know when to tune in, and having them spaced keeps it in people's minds.

Probably to build up a buffer for Schedule Slip. Or because they haven't actually finished the episode, just that one part. Or because you have to schedule airtime ahead of time and they just happen to be ahead of schedule.

EQD news that was awesome, but in retrospect not quite as awesome as it should be.

Oh, There's a sort of Pony E3 (Called Pon-e3, natch) occurring on Equestria gaming right now. It's all fan games, like Fighting is Magic or MLP: Online. It looks interesting. (though I can't actually get on the livestream itself right now...)

It's a shame that Pony Portal Advance never got much attention. I wonder if anyone ever beat it.

The news was in fact pretty cool. I just don't plan to get too worked up before the episodes air. That way, it'll be harder to be disappointed.

Also people are less regular about watching tv in the summer, which is why most shows start airing in the fall.

@CDRW What makes you say that? Sure, it's not a lock or anything, but the fact that Cathy just happened to have a voice for Octavia prepared makes it extremely likely that she at the very least has a speaking role, and a hint at a duet with Rarity would be rather strange to bring up for no reason.

If I ever make one of those, I won't be using the pony creators. Mostly because I don't care for the stock bodies and poses.

This means that the prerequisite for pony!me existing is learning to draw, which might take a while.

It seems odd though that they'd give a duet to a background pony. Much as I'd love to see more Octavia, all the songs so far have been by mane characters, except for This Day Aria. Having her provide some music for Rarity's song though would be excellent.

Damn that's a pricy Zecora.
