The day goes well. We have some tasty season three news which we're currently digesting.

I like idea of MLPFIM movie. But not TV or direct DVD (or Blue Ray or whatever) because in cinema it will mean that I need to wait months until it come to Poland and only in dub version what I hate (not to mention going to theater for such thing) so it will be more months until it get version uploaded on internet.

And live action with never be MLPFIM, it will be MLP movie, not related to FIM.

My Little Pony started out as a movie, and it spawned the franchise we all know and love, didn't it? If there is such a movie in the works, I would be interested in seeing what they do with it!

Hmm...Dragon Fluttershy? I bet it has something to do with Fluttershy's fear of full-grown dragons. I mean, "Dragonshy" established that she had this phobia, and "Dragon Quest" made it quite clear that she has not overcome it but had merely forgotten her fear when she went Mama Bear on Basil in "Dragonshy". I hope they explain where she got this phobia of full-grown dragons (must have been some childhood trauma) and to have her address it!

Hm. Pretty cool news overall. I really enjoyed that song.

I am almost positive Fluttershy is transformed for irony purposes. Whether it be a villain who love irony or a Monkey's Paw type artifact.

In other news what the hell kind of test was Twilight so stressed about? Social graces? Oral presentations (The horror!)? Kama Sutra Pony Edition?

Flash animated feature films seem to be pretty rare.

@Osias: So you're basically assuming that just because previous attempts at making a full length movie out of a cartoon suck (which is YMMV in and of itself), it's guaranteed that an FIM movie would be bad? I mean, it's not as if there was ever a series of things that were generally considered to be subpar that suddenly took a huge jump quality in the most recent attempt- Oh wait...

@Whatsis: It's probably because the in the vast majority of cases, if they have the budget for a feature-length movie, they'll generally spring for something more impressive than flash. Flash is used much more it television because it's easier to make the larger volume of episodes. With at movie, you don't have the limitation of having to come up with such a large amount of material in such a short time, so usually they go with other methods.

MLP started as TV specials, two specials and later movie in same continuinty (where only Spike, and Megan return from previous character), later another movie what was pilot for series.

Both movies where OK, like entire series.

Although Wakfu Demonstrates that you can get some pretty awesome visuals using flash. a full length feature movie could be done. Although Honestly? I think they will merely release a 3 part finale and call it a movie (Like several tvshows have done).

@osias: I don't think it's a particularly applicable analogy in this case. There's a way bigger difference between plants and meat than there is between a tv show and movie that's in the same medium. The only difference is length. It's like complaining that you refuse to eat an oversized vegetable because the last one you ate wasn't very good. Or alternately, it's like saying that you won't like eating meat because you once had a few bad hamburgers. It doesn't mean that all hamburgers are crap. The sample size is too small. All I'm saying is that if there's a movie, you should actually watch it before deciding whether or not it's good.

yeah but any FIM movie NOT done in flash is going to look wierd, and they proved in the Wedding that they can make flash look as good as a Disney movie.
