Oh, There's a sort of Pony E3 (Called Pon-e3, natch) occurring on Equestria gaming

right now. It's all fan games, like Fighting is Magic or MLP: Online. It looks interesting. (though I can't actually get on the livestream itself right now...)

I saw the first one, And though it could just be a coincidence. then I saw the second one, and started to think that perhaps it was a reference. The third one removed all doubt. I mean really, a staff called Twilight, Element of magic'? What else could it be?

And that never really rung true to me. Even most ponysexual fans are significantly different than furries in my eye because for the most part it's not the pony aspect they're fetishizing, but the characters themselves.

I've never really considered the Furry Fandom to be a fandom at all, honestly. What are they a fandom of? Not to mention the fact that it can't even be an umbrella fandom, otherwise every fan of anything staring anthropomorphic animals would fall into it, which clearly isn't the case. It's just a group with specific tastes in character design.
