I'm still of the opinion that Derpy will never be referred to by name on screen. Since it looks like she's going to be used mostly for Funny Background Events they can get away with not having a lot of dialogue directed at her.

Let's go on a little ticket-master VS at-the-gala retrospective:

I know the Ditzy vs Derpy debate is going to be one of those endless struggles that'll exist until the creators descend from heaven to end it (I prefer the name Ditzy myself), but in Winter Wrap Up "Ditzy" is sent to bring back the southern birds. In the end when the birds return, a decidedly non-Derpy pegasus is leading them. Wouldn't THAT be Ditzy?

The only reason I refer to Ditzy/Derpy as Derpy is because of all the fanon about Derpy having a daughter named Ditzy. But it's pretty unlikely that this'll show up, because any sort of relation is usually passed off as sisters, and Derpy is a pegasus while Ditzy is a unicorn (supposedly).

Somebody made a complicated chart of how the genetics would work, although my favored explanation is that two the same race produce that race, while two ponies of different races produce the third. So two unicorns would have a unicorn baby, but a unicorn and an earth pony would have a pegasus.

I'd just write it as this: Two ponies of the same sort will have a baby that is the same sort as them. If it's two different kinds, there's a 50/50 chance of either. Not that I know anything about genetics. I also kind of see Earth Pony as dominant.

Eh, I'd bet it would be a random chance between the breeds of the parents.
That's grossly simplifying it though.

Lauren has referred to her as both Dinky and Derpy...
I guess both will be canon, until they decide otherwise.

Hold it, in Winter Wrap Up it's mentioned that Canterlot also needs to be manually brought into spring. Would the princess help out with that at all? Or would she just give a speech akin to the Mayor's (albeit more inspiring I'd assume)?

Just replace "ducks" with "ponies" and this is so spot-on it's kinda creepy.

There's a My Little Pony RPG?!?!?!?!!!!!111!
Holy Clop, I've so got to get one of my friends to run this thing.
There have been many Pony RPG attempts. I think we even have a thread over in Tabletop.
My major beef with most of them is that while they are all very cool systems, they are still focused on combat as the main source of conflict. (The old RPG curse.) RP Gs grew out of wargames and this is something most R Pers can't wrap their head around: there are types of storytelling where this becomes a drawback. To me, any game where I need to calculate how much injury my pony can take before she dies is clearly missing the point of Friendship Is Magic.
