You didn't just say you didn't like it, though. You said you didn't tolerate it, meaning that if you had the power, you would get rid of it completely. I don't like it at all, but I respect the fact that some people do. There's a difference between having an opinion, and thinking that everyone should share that opinion.

Im pretty cool with people not liking R34, I wont think less of you if you dont think less of me.

R34 actually makes me laugh ... I dont get off on it at all. Its comedic for me.

What I dont get is the gory stuff..

I think the difference here is this:

Tolerance: I don't like this thing, but I'm not going to impede someone else's right to like it.

Intolerance: I don't like this thing, so I'm going to prevent other people from enjoying it.

I.e. You don't have to like r34 to tolerate it; I'm generally not a fan, but as long as nobody forces me to look at it, I don't care if other people like it. I'm not exactly where Waz falls on this spectrum, though. And since I seem to have come in on the tail end of the conversation I'm going to drop it.

Also, is Applelight around? His fic is ready.

It also drives me crazy when people complain that they dont know how to do something, when there is a big fat procedure manual right behind them that says "How to Whatever they dont know what to do"

Hey JT, it's going. relaxing with a glass of mead waiting to hear back from my landlady to see if she'll let me take a cat in. Of course I've been waiting for word since last Thursday or Friday. It could be it's taken her so long because she's on vacation, but I'm not sure because she forwarded us an e-mail Friday to left us know the cooling tower for our complex had gone down.
