Post of the Day #59

You know from what I read from this wiki page of this show that it was originally planned to have an overarcing plot.

While that would be cool, I get a bad feeling that somehow things wouldn't be as good if it wasn't as episodic as it is now.

[up]Whoa, that's old post.

And that post was 100% innacurate. There was never a plan for a Myth Arc.

"Just now" doesn't mean instantly to us. A rough translation would be "sometime in the relatively near future".

For us it doesn't mean instantly, it means something that happened a moment ago in the past.

I'm in work atm, and somebody I don't like just won £100 quid on a £5 scratch card. The one that's been looking me in the face for two hours.

I'll be annoyed about that all week

Just remember that statisticlly, he's donating large amounts of money to the education system or whatever, and that this win will likely encourage him to donate more.

If we don't mind getting back to background pony characterizations I like it when Bon-Bon is acting the Straight Man to Lyra's insanities.

So what other background pony characterizations are there? I'm surprised they didn't mention the Mayor's money obsession.

The Great & Powerful Trixie! trading card:
Could the Great and Powerful Trixie really be the most magical unicorn in all of Equestria? Trixie travels the land, wowing audiences with her dazzling performances, then challenges local ponies with a snooty, "Anything you can do, I can do better!" Trixie's bragging in Ponyville got her cart crushed by an Ursa Minor, but as Twilight said, "Maybe someday she'll learn her lesson." Will she return to Ponyville, and if so, will it be as a friend or a rival?
Huh, nothing about her full name (Trixie Lulamoon). Also, her location is listed as Ponyville even though the end of the description asks whether she'll return there.

Crackle is deep. Man, you'll never really understand all his layers.

[up]Sounds like a setup to me!

Wait, I've got it. Crackle was originally a terrible dragon costumed that was transformed into a real dragon, sort of like in the Scooby Doo movie.

Onions don't taste terrible. They are one of few vegetables what taste good. But as part of some dish, not alone.

I still think that Sharing Bon-Bons is an example of Getting Crap Past the Radar.

@Story Of course I have. The seller assured me it was the highest quality dragon steak! Although now that I think about it, it did seem to taste like a beef steak marinated in Tabasco sauce...
