Yeah, but the contents of the card imply that it's a bit deeper than that. I can't remember the exact quote. Someone will probably quote it again just now. Some are saying that it means that we must ship them or that Mayor Mare was a former companion.

Golden Harvest & Lyra Heartstrings

There's two in every crowd! Lyra Heartstrings is an excitable pony often seen bouncing and grinning at the back of the herd or lolling in the park sharing bonbons with Golden Harvest, her PFF. Golden Harvest earned the nickname Carrot Top because carrots are always on her mind. These two ponies can be found all over Equestria, enjoying various activities like jumping across rooftops, running from buffalo, and joining in musical numbers!

Aargh! I said "just now"! I'm normally so good about avoiding using South African time terminology!

Sorry for those I confused. In South Africa, we refer to time a bit differently to the rest of the world. "Just now" doesn't mean instantly to us. A rough translation would be "sometime in the relatively near future".

@The Trading cards. I'm very impressed with the clear fanon shoutouts, and they still managed to keep it from being entirely for Bronies, which personally is a good thing, since we never needed it before.

Also, whoever got in the Timey-Wimey joke on the Time Turner(I like this name. I guessed we wouldn't actually get Dr Whooves so this works out fine) and Mayor Mare card needs a medal. ^_^

The big question now though is how much of the shoutouts will carry over the the show? I Wouldn't be surprised if none carried over, but it's not out of the question, At least for the names. They did trademark them, after all, even if they are only trademarked for the cards.
