That seems overly complicated for custom smileys, and I think it would just put the image at the bottom of the post regardless of where you wanted it. Besides, I meant on Skype.

You could replace the image files somewhere deep down inside of Skype, maybe, depending on where they're kept. Only you would be able to see the changes, though.

Edit:Upon closer inspection, the emoticons are actually easily accessible in the files, but they come in a customized file format for Skype, so you'll either need to find a way to make them, or find custom emoticon sets on the internet to download.
