Why wouldn't she be an evil counterpart to RD? Their personalities and skills are very similar, but Gilda is MUCH more of a bitch

I understand why people often like to make Blueblood Rarity's "official antagonist" in fanworks, but what about the Diamond Dogs?
Well, the thing went back and forth, and Rarity pretty much made them her bitches.

Because Gilda is to smart and her sharp beak and claws would make it a short fight and she is loyal in her own right. Also I wanted Rainbow Dash's counterpart to Be The Brute she's more of The Dragon

I guess... If you take the Generosity bit and the friendlyness out of Rarity, you essentially get Princess Blueblood: fancy, stuck up and self centered.

Is there a name for a type of villain who's antagonistic when by themselves, but willing to team up with the heroes if the stakes get higher?
cuz that's what I can imagine Gilda becoming. I bet she'd try to help RD if she ever got into serious life-threatening trouble (there goes my ACI again)

I am sorry about the whole Complete Monster thing. but I just want to add one more thing, I feel it's what the other characters think that is important most of the time and Discord was thought of nothing else except a monster in-universe. all five criteria are important but I think the second one is the least so.
